DEBUT SOLO EXHIBITION: "ENTRE DEUX"

Openning Hours

The sculptures explore the space between intimacy and distance, body and space, interior and exterior. Rather than portraying individuals, they embody emotional states. Through form, openings, and touch, they invite viewers to experience intimacy as something physical, spatial, and shared.

THE EXHIBITED SCULPTURES EXIST IN THE IN-BETWEEN—BETWEEN INTIMACY AND DISTANCE, INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR, BODY AND SPACE. THE FIGURES DO NOT APPEAR AS INDIVIDUAL PORTRAITS, BUT AS STATES OF BEING. RATHER THAN DEPICTING SPECIFIC IDENTITIES OR NARRATIVES, THEY EVOKE EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS. OPENINGS, POINTS OF CONTACT, AND SCULPTED VOLUMES SUGGEST RECEPTIVITY AND TENSION. INTIMACY IS NOT PRESENTED AS A RELATIONSHIP, BUT AS A BODILY EXPERIENCE. THE WORKS INVITE VIEWERS NOT SIMPLY TO OBSERVE INTIMACY, BUT TO ENCOUNTER IT SPATIALLY.
